Actions aimed at the organizational restructuring of the Nitrogen Works after their transformation into the State's owned joined stock company, including the separation of several activity units, are discussed. Capital relationship with other companies in Poland and the attendance of the Works in national organizations and associations are described. Undertakings in the field of the information infrastructure coveting the construction and implementation of management supporting systems are presented. Actions aimed at the designing and implementation of the quality assurance system, successfully finished with the award of PCBC and IQNet certificate confirming the accordance of the existing system to the requirements of ISO 9002 standard are also discussed. Organizational and technical actions oriented toward the limitation of the nuisance of the Works to the environment, as well as achievements and problems to be solved in this field in the nearest future are also presented.
