Dynamics modelling and dynamic characteristics analysis of pickup trucks

摘要
The aim of this work is to provide a dynamics model basis and analyzing method for the dynamic optimization design of pickup trucks with passive suspension by studying the dynamic characteristics and dynamics modelling methods. The road irregularities are represented as stationary Gaussian random excitations. And the dynamics model is developed as a six degree of freedom two-dimensional one. The vibration modes characteristics of two different types of pickup trucks selected as instances have been identified by numerical simulation and modal experiments respectively. And, with the road excitation, the acceleration responses of the both trucks are also obtained and analysed by numerical simulation and running experiments using spectral analysis technique. Finally, comparison analysis between responses of the driver's seat of the two trucks is carried out to study the influence of modal characteristics on the vibration response performance of the trucks.
