摘要
To study the DNA interaction with divalent metal ions is of great interest because of the main role metal ions play in functioning of the genetic apparatus in vivo. Along with water, metal ions stabilize the structure of nucleic acids, condition the equilibrium between different forms of secondary and tertiary structures, take part in processes of DNA transcription and replication. In the present work we study the effect of low (up to 25 vol.%) ethanol concentrations on Cu2+ and Ca2+ interaction with DNA.
