摘要
Increasing competition in the marketplace customized products with shorter development time, higher efficiency, better function and higher quality, and increased environmental friendliness. It is increasingly difficult to dominate markets with a single product and numerous industries are evolving towards mass customization, which means the production of individually customized and highly diversified products or services. This paper mainly discusses the process of adaptability-oriented parametric design of wheel group to satisfy various requirements of customers. On the basis of design adaptability of the product,SolidWorks is considered as development platform, while Access is used as database management software, and VB and the API technologies of SolidWorks are utilized as development tools. Finally the proposed method is validated by a case study of the wheel group design for gantry crane.
