摘要
The aim of the study is to develop and offer indicators that allow analysing and determining the potential for district heating systems and renewable energy resources in a certain area. During the study an analysis of the Latvian heating system and results from modelling of potential heating supply and demands are presented. Tendencies show that the consumed heat of companies is decreasing, while increasing in the agricultural sector. At the moment the renewable resource proportion in the energy field is small due to comprehensive cogeneration plants proportion in common energy balance. These future tendencies were analysed by input/output model EnergyPlan in Latvia. (C) 2017 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
