A DIALOG MODEL FOR SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS ELICITATION

Software requirements elicitation is an important process in software development, due to the fact that better software applications depend on the quality of this process. Interviews-dialogue between analysts and stakeholders-are the most used methods in software requirements elicitation. Previous work on interviews for requirements elicitation has still constraints: there is no well-established structure for conducting analyst-stakeholder interviews, and the analyst must subjectively conduct the elicitation process. We present, in this paper, a proposal for the structure of a dialog model related to the software elicitation process. We also show, by means of a case study, the way of asking questions throughout an interview of the elicitation process.
