摘要
A method recommendation by the German Working Group on water issues of the Federal States and the Federal Government (LAWA) exists as a draft for a WFD-compliant classification of the hydrological regime of river basins and water bodies. The article explains the subject-specific backgrounds and presents the methodology. Comments on national and international work and corresponding trends complement the explanations.
