摘要：
In the present paper it was attempted to provide the basic concepts of the Behavioral Assessment and its role in the area of Behavioral Medicine, The paper provides a bird's eye view of the nature, functions and the assumptions of Behavioral Assessment. The recent developments and trends in the area of Behavioral assessment have been discussed. The need for further research is highlighted.
