摘要：
Various guidelines are in use for validating blood glucose meters. There are currently no analytical guidelines for validating procedures available for noninvasive or minimally invasive blood glucose meters. As a result manufacturers of these meters need to comply with different regulations in different countries with concomitant high costs. Some of the differences between different guidelines will be discussed in this article and recommendations for improvement will be presented.
