摘要：

A pair of vicarious species disjunctly distributed in western North America and Himalaya - central Asia, Epipactis gigantea Dougl. ex Hook. and E. royleana Lindl., are illustrated and discussed taxonomically and phytogeographically. A distribution map is provided and the morphological differences between them are tabled.
