摘要
The case here presented concerns a group of trulli, one of the most distinctive expressions of the building culture of central Puglia region, in Italy. The study aims at understanding the specific characters of these buildings within the context that generated them, as an expression of deep building knowledge and of the ability to inhabit the territory in perfect harmony and symbiosis with it. The design based on this study and wanted to consider both this relation and the contemporary uses that we can imagine for this territory. A new concept of tourism and a new concept of restoration of traditional buildings that can live toghether with the specific and still practised agricultural and residential uses of these places.
