An application of genetic algorithm to DNA sequencing by oligonucleotide hybridization

We propose a sequencing algorithm for origonucleotide hybridization using the genetic algorithm. The target DIVA sequence reconstructed in the hybridization method is relatively long for GA, so special setups of the genetic operation is necessary. We introduce the grouping GA and special crossover meth od for this problem. We made some experiments of sequence reconstruction, and examined the reconstructed sequences by comparing the motif length sub-sequences.
