Commuting Mode Choice of Metropolitan Areas and Satellite Towns based on Concept of Sustainable Development

China is under period of rapid development of urbanization. The urban expansion has brought a series of problems and gave birth to the emergence of tremendous satellite towns. Under the circumstances of global climate change, with the economic coordination and development, energy security and the biological environment between the satellite town and metropolitan areas are facing enormous challenges. Focused on the road and commuting mode in the development of satellite town, this paper proposed solutions to problems with the perspective of the sustainable development, in order to adapt the developing trend of sustainable urbanization.
