摘要
This article discusses the importance of specificity in ICP-MS, introduces the concept of chemical resolution, and explains how, by means of a new dynamic reaction cell (DRC), specificity is increased and the detection power of ICP-MS can be improved. Based on recent innovations using a DRC, chemical resolution can reduce some of the most difficult interferences in ICP-MS, which have previously limited the technique's ability to detect many key elements, particularly in high-technology materials and other difficult matrices.
