摘要：

The promotion of sustainable production and consumption represent one of the important concerns of environmental policy. The EU is developing a series of instruments aimed to promoting practices with reduced environmental impact, some progress was made regarding decoupling environmental degradation and natural resource use from economic growth. However, consumption patterns have some adverse developments, especially regarding energy consumption. The paper analyses the maim action taking to the level of European Union in order to promote the model for a sustainable production and consume.
