Optical Manipulation of Microbeads in an Integrated Optofluidic Device

摘要
We demonstrate optical manipulation of 1-mu m-sized polystyrene beads in a silicon-based integrated optofluidic device. The relative velocity of the optically driven microbeads is similar to 14.2 mu m/s and similar to 3.5 mu m/s using 0.7-mu m and 0.5-mu m-thick silicon nitride waveguides.(C) 2010 Optical Society of America
