摘要：

Friedel-Crafts chemistry is one of the most established and useful reactions, used in a wide variety of organic fields. Microwave-assisted Friedel-Crafts reactions have witnessed an explosive growth in the methodology of organic synthesis and the appearance of numerous new highly valuable products. The development and application of microwave-assisted Friedel-Crafts chemistry are reviewed in this paper.
