摘要
The food-energy-water (FEW) nexus can be broadly described as an approachthat considers the interactions, synergies, harmonization, and tradeoffs betweenwater, energy, and food. As of 2016, the United Nations estimates that althoughaccess to FEW resources has increased significantly within the past 15 years, about800 million people are still considered food-insecure, about 800 million lack safedrinking water, and approximately 1.2 billion lack access to electricity.
