Modeling an Intelligent Virtual Teaching Environment based on multi-agent systems

摘要
The aim of the paper is model and implement an Intelligent Virtual Teaching Environment - IVTE - to assist and to back up the ecological character of children from 8 to 10 year olds. The idea is to propose and to develop a virtual teaching environment where the youngster can count on several possible solutions for the selection of urban waste. The IVTE microworld will consist of a small village with all generic features that can be noticed in our Brazilian cities. The child will be able to carry out activities inside the environment and verify how successful s/he has been in the correct selection of garbage by using a monitoring tutor The IVTE tutor will guide the student so that s/he can make adequate plans and strategies in accordance with all kinds of garbage produced day by day. The IVTE is modeled by techniques of Distributed Artificial Intelligence using architecture of Multiagent Systems in an Intelligent Distributed Teaching Environment.
