摘要：
The results of studies on the preparation of a coagulant for the treatment of wastewater and potable water by sulfuric acid leaching from the overburden rocks of the L'vovskii section of the Kimovsk strip mine at OAO Tulaugol' are reported. The technology was developed in detail at the Zhilevo pilot concentrating mill (Zhilevskaya OPOF, Moscow oblast). The overall material balance was calculated for the manufacture of 50000 t of crystalline aluminum sulfate per annum; the process flowsheet and equipment were developed for implementing this process on an industrial scale.
