摘要：

Sport and Leisure are important phenomena and are present in our lives in various ways. Based on the assumptions of action research, this article discusses a work proposal on the relationship between Sport and Leisure in school physical education. Eight meetings (16 classes) were held with 7th graders from a state school in a city in the interior of the State of Sao Paulo. The work allowed a reflection on teaching practice and its importance in the construction of a "leisure education" (MARCELLINO, 2002; AMARAL, 2012) and the expansion of the repertoire of "Self-Move" (KUNZ, 1991; 2000; 2004) of students, providing them with significant and alternative experiences to understand such phenomena and their relations with society.
