摘要
Non-reciprocal effect of transverse-magnetized ferromagnetic-metal-on-amplifier magnetooptical waveguides was numerically studied using finite-difference beam-propagation method. It was shown that these waveguides can be used to obtain monolithically integrated optical isolator. A detailed description and analysis of such integrable isolator with better than 25 dB isolation ratio and low insertion loss in the 1.5 mu m wavelength region is given.
