摘要
The optimum system reliability can be achieved by efficient repairing which further helps in avoiding big losses. A system can only be sustainable if it works under the constant vigilance and also under the proper care of a repair person called server. Thus, we in this paper, examine a stochastic model developed for a parallel system of identical units with alternate repair facility. The behaviour of the model is analysed by taking weibull distribution for the random variables associated with different time points. A customary repairperson whose job is to do repair of the failed system within a short span of time. After gettting let down in repairing the unit in precise period, repairperson examine the viability of supplementary repair by the alternate (proficient) repairman or substitute the unit with original ones. Through semi-Markov process (SMP) and Regenerative point technique, various measures of system usefulness are gauged during reliability indices. The cost benefit analysis of the system model has also been carried out for arbitrary values of the parameter.
