摘要
This paper is the first in a series of articles describing methods for improving simulation engineering practices that have been implemented at the Wichita Division of The Boeing Company. Here, we present a model for improving simulation engineering practices based on the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model for Software. The resulting model is being used as the framework for establishing reliable simulation processes at Boeing's Wichita site.
