A Bimetallic Chain Based on [Mo(CN)8]3- and Ho3+ Ions as Building Blocks

摘要
A novel bimetallic 4d-4f complex, {[Ho-III(DMF)(6)] [Mo-V(CN)(8)]center dot 3H(2)O}(n) (1) (DMF = N,N'-dimethylformamide), has been synthesized and structurally characterized. The crystalline analyses shown that the complex 1 consists of a one-dimensional (1D) infinite chain, which adopts a 1D zigzag motif, and this is the first structurally characterized example of a 1D structure based on the [Mo(CN)(8)](3-) and Ho3+ building blocks. The complex 1 crystallizes in a monoclinic system of space group P2(1)/c, with a = 10.8672(7), b = 20.920(2), c = 17.9097(7) angstrom, beta = 92.646(4)degrees, and Z = 4.
