摘要
This paper is a study of historical perspective anchored in the eighties to analyze the local feminist activism regarding the problematization of violence against (cis) women and their fight for the conquest of (human) rights. The hypothesis of this paper is that it is in this period where the significant violence is introduced as a way to refer to the sufferings of (cis) women and that this situation was linked to transformations in the Western world's regimes of governmentality, to the particularities of the Latin American context and to the renewal of Buenos Aires's feminist activists of those years. When the significant violence is established explanations in terms of specific oppression are left behind or lose hierarchy, although some of their analytical cuts are inherited. The name of violence also displaces other attempts to codify the situation of (cis) women in terms of discrimination.
