摘要：
The design and implementation of a volumetric system is presented to improve the process of receiving and sending packages at the Orionlogistics company dedicated to cargo transportation at the national level (Quito-MachalaHuaquillas) and internationally towards Tumbes-Peru. The process used for cubing is described, which details the design of the weighing system, the selection of volumetric system sensors to obtain the dimensions of the packages through artificial vision, the generation of a database, the standard LTL method of calculation of the shipping rate, the implementation of a software that allows the visualization of information as well as the control of the measurement system and the developing for the printing of the identification label where the shipping data are presented as: dimensions, weight, rate and guide number. The results obtained from the volumetric and weighing system confirm that the machine has an efficiency of 98% with a resolution off 0.05 kg and 1 cm.
