Information about mobility issues - The ACTS AVANTI project

Dissemination of information about accessibility is very important for the mobility of people with disabilities. The approach of the AVANTI project is to develop an information system, through which heterogeneous databases with accessibility information can be accessed transparently by the user. The information is reorganised to be conveyed to the user, independently from the available technical resources (terminal and communication link) and disabilities. The concepts of adaptability at connection and run time and adaptivity according to user behaviour are used to make this possible.
