Experimental and analytical investigation of the flow field of a turbocharger turbine

摘要
An experimental and analytical investigation of a 110 mm turbocharger radial inflow turbine rotor was conducted with a L2F laser anemometer and a 3-D viscous Navier-Stokes flow code. Detailed flow field measurements were carried out with a L2F anemometer at the rotor inlet and exit regions of the turbine. Experimental and analytical results are compared in order to validate CFD flow code. Additional results obtained from the CFD predictions are presented to show some of the internal flow processes in the turbine rotor.
