摘要：

The article approaches the issue of the European model of criminal process in Romania. The author examines the two characteristics of the European model of criminal process (due process and reasonable duration of trial). The author also expresses views on the obligations of judiciary authorities to conduct the investigation and trial in accordance with the procedural guarantees and procedural rights of the parties and the subjects, so as to be made the aim of the trial.
