Observation of the ferroelastic domain structure near the phase transition point

摘要：
Temperature and time dependences of the ferroelastic domain structure were observed near the ferroelastic phase transition temperature in [N(CH3)(4)]2ZnBr4 single crystal. It was found that the domain structure reaches a metastable state within about 20sec after quenching. The domain size increases with decreasing temperature.
