Some oscillation criteria are established for the second-order superlinear neutral differential equations (r(t)vertical bar z'(t)vertical bar(alpha-1)z'(t))' + f(t, x(sigma(t)) = 0, t >= t(0), where z(t) = x(t) + p(t)x(tau(t)), tau(t) >= t, sigma(t) >= t, p is an element of C([t(0), infinity), [0,p(0)]), and alpha >= 1. Our results are based on the cases integral(infinity)(t0) 1/r(1/alpha)(t)dt = infinity or integral(infinity)(t0) 1/r(1/alpha)(t)dt < infinity. Two examples are also provided to illustrate these results.
