Summary of Cross-border M&A and Industrial Security

Nowadays, as the wave of economic globalization, the new scientific & technological revolution and industrial revolution are surging forward, the scale and impact of Cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) have enlarged. Because of its own characteristics, Cross-border M&A has caught the attention of various countries in the world. Although it plays a certain role in promoting the attraction of investment, the threats towards industrial security of our country that made by Cross-border M&A also can not be ignored. In the 21st century today, with rapid development of economic globalization and integration, the industrial security, which is one part of economic security, has been a common problem faced by every country all over the world. Therefore, it is a topic worth deep consideration and study that how to make good use of Cross-border M&A this "double-edged sword" and better safeguard the industrial security of our country. This paper has described the research of Cross-border M&A and industrial security from domestic aspect and abroad.
