Comparison of Urban Traffic Noise Attenuation Effects by Different Plant Communities

摘要：
This thesis studies eight well afforested urban main roads of Nanjing, which are selected as the noise testing spots. The testing and comparison results of noise levels of different plant communities of different sound source distances showed that the noise reduction effect on spots by plant communities was more evident than spots with no plant community. There were significant differences among the noise reduction effects of different plant communities 20m away from the sound sources, among which the plant community of Ginkgo biloba + Cinnamomum camphora + Cedrus deodara had the best effect.
