UTILIZATION OF MOODLE E-LEARNING SYSTEM IN TEACHING PHYSICS

摘要
The goal of physics as a subject at the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology (FCHFT) of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (SUT) is to provide basic physical laws necessary for the subsequent study of subjects depending on physics, e.g. physical chemistry and chemical engineering. Unfortunately, many students have troubles not only with the application of physical laws to the solution of physical problems but also with elementary mathematical operations. Within the implementation of the innovative methods we have prepared miscellaneous questions and tasks in a paper book form and also in an electronic version in Moodle c-learning system. It was intended for students to improve their physical knowledge and to exercise their computing skills. Besides preparatory tests in which the student can answer questions one by one, there are also tests with the time limit and no possibility of checking answers one by one. Students intensively make use of these means of preparation for exams, which is indicated by more than 10 thousand attempts made by 509 students during one semester.
