摘要：
We evaluate PDL-induced penalties in PDM-QPSK coherent systems with both lumped model and distributed model. We find the lumped model significantly over-estimates PDL penalties and PDM coherent systems can tolerate more PDL than single-polarization systems. (C) 2010 Optical Society of America
