摘要
Thinking about borders produces an instant association with the geopolitical and cultural divisions of a place. Although this definition is correct, it doesn't fully embrace the importance of its contemporary meaning, since the opportunities that the city offers have led to the migration of people and resulting exchange of cultures that have transformed local identities into a collage of miscegenation. This migration is being accompanied by the displacement of borders, which are not only found on the peripheries and in physical form, but have adopted intangible proportions within the city. How then can you map what can't be seen or touched? Architecture and its agents have taken on the responsibility for registering and mapping physical and tangible situations, however, the project processes and their scheme of hierarchies have been transformed on a global level, where people have positioned themselves in a place of greater prominence in the decision-making of the city, highlighting the negligence in solving urban problems on the part of those involved in its design. Therefore, the architect must rethink his way of analyzing and understanding the world, expanding towards a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach that includes visions of other fields of knowledge as well as architecture. Testimonial land-registry can be a tool for organizing information and data that incorporates the eyes of society, from an everyday, ordinary point of view, providing new parameters for the study of the city. For example, testimonies and events, which place the emphasis on properties at ground level, where urban space and social relations acquire an inner restfulness. It is generally understood that these meeting spaces on the ground floor are the first layer of the city and an extension of public space, therefore, they are an interesting object of study in order to obtain a specific vision of a piece of city, which incorporates other methods of analysis to understand its socio-spatial composition, locating the current problems and adding coordinates to the events and human experiences as the linchpin in the analysis of the urban landscape. The intention is to develop an instrument that provides a new perspective for the study of social behavior in certain parts of the city based on contemporary demographic dynamics.
