摘要：
In this paper we discuss the conditions that have to be met by the software industry that component markets will evolve. We first discuss shortly the technical and system theoretical aspects of component based software system. We furthermore provide a definition of perfect competitive markets based on traditional neoclassical microeconomics. This definition serves as a theoretical benchmark. The appropriateness of pure markets transactions, however, depends on factor that we want to describe in our model. Standards and personal relationships are presented as alternative coordination mechanism for the activities of economic agents.
