摘要
The direct solution of the dynamic equation for spatially varied flow with decreasing discharge in prismatic channels with side weir was first obtained by de Marchi (1934) for the flow in a prismatic rectangular channel, assuming constant specific energy. Such solution has been proved experimentally. New numerical solutions have been determined by Uyumaz y Muslu (1985) for circular and Uyumaz (1997) for U shaped channels, but they use a graphical representation of the function used in the flow profile computation. This paper shows a direct solution in a trapezoidal channel to compute the flow profile in subcritical and supercritical flow.
