摘要:
The first step in providing consistent evidence-based care in a neonatal intensive care unit is a collaborative effort between clinicians of all disciplines toward team care focused on patient needs. A systematic review of the evidence about diagnostic and therapeutic interventions that might improve the outcome of a clinical problem provides the basis for protocols. A culture of scientific inquiry and "buy in" by all staff assist in the development and implementation of protocols. Evaluation of practice and outcomes is essential to inform ongoing quality improvement.
