A Research on CSR and Core Competitiveness of Listed Banks in China

This paper provides a correlation analysis on CSR and core competitiveness of listed banks in China. Researches of the author show that CSR is an important way to enhance the core competitiveness of commercial banks both in the short run and the long run. Therefore, combining the long-term business objectives and social responsibilities may be an important task in the long-run for banks. Stable economic performance, mature management philosophy, and good social environment are all important to enhance CSR performance of banks.
