摘要
Pitting corrosion and mechanical properties studies were carried out on ferritic (FSS) and metastable austenitic stainless steels (MASS) with different tin contents. It is shown that an increase in the tin content does not affect the pitting formation potential (E-b) of FSS. Whereas for MASS with tin content increasing Eb decreases. The change in the tin content does not have a significant effect on the tensile strength (sigma(B)) and yield strength (sigma(0,2)) of investigated steels in air. With an increase in the tin content of MASS, a slight decrease in the relative elongation (delta) was observed in air. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
