摘要：
We will see that firms have incentives to allow a pre-purchase product trial for heterogeneous consumers in order to differentiate themselves from other firms. In the case of a duopoly, we will see that a pre-purchase product trial may decrease the consumer surplus. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
