At the beginning of a information technology outsourcing process is always the decision itself and how to generate the maximum value with a set of determinants. These determinants comprise the questions around the scope of the services, the contractual duration and the evaluation process. How companies can set the best parameters for this dimensions in order to optimize the value of IT outsourcing. The article illustrates three scientific researches around this issue.
