The Perception of Lecturers on the Cultural Heritage in the Teaching History

摘要
This research presents the results obtained on the perception of history and didactics of social sciences lecturers, on the value of cultural heritage in the teaching and learning of history, as well as in the development of historical thinking. The methodology used was a descriptive non-experimental quantitative method. The participants in the study were 26 lecturers from three departments of the University of Murcia and the research instrument used was a questionnaire. Finally, with regard to the results obtained, it can be concluded that professorate consider the cultural heritage to be useful for developing four of the six concepts of historical thinking and use it for different purposes, among which one of a critical nature stands out. They thus reach the level of the symbolic and identity perspective of heritage.
