Copains or "comarades" - French baby-boomers of the 1960s

This text, based on the recent research of the author, aims to be a plea both for the study of the 1960s and for the analysis of the baby-boom generations emergence. Such a subject notably takes part in cultural history, which is today experiencing a significant expansion. To support this plea and to illustrated this expansion, the author analyses here the transition between the condition of young teenagers influenced by juvenile mass culture the audience of the programme 'Salut les Copains' - and the situation of young people engaged in extreme Left actions during the second part of the 1960s.
