A K Band Three-way Power Combiner Based on The H-plane Waveguide

摘要
This paper presents the design method of a novel three-way power divider/combiner based on H-plane waveguide with slots. A design methodology to control power division ratio by changing the length of slot is proposed. Compared with the traditional 2(n) output ports, the three-way divider/combiner method is advantaged to improve the flexibility in designing the output stage of power amplifier. This paper exhibits a good consistency between simulation and measurement, the implemented prototype achieves a measured result shows that the insertion loss of the three-way power divider/combiner is less than 0.4 dB and the return loss is better than -20 dB with the frequency range of 22.5 similar to 23.5 GHz.
