摘要
The paper considers the practical approaches to the risk assessment of emergency situations caused by natural and man-made processes. It determines the concepts and methods of analysis of emergency risks for the population and country, which are based on information technologies, the processing of nonuniformly scaled electronic maps, and modelling the consequences of adverse impacts from natural processes.
