摘要
This is the first empirical study on the effects of active labor market policies in China. Based on the data for 31 regions, we not only compare the effectiveness of active labor market policies in different regions but also test the matching process in China from 2002 to 2005. In the panel data model, this paper estimates the effects of labor exchange schemes and vocational training on the process. The results indicate that labor exchange schemes improve the labor matching process while the professional training has 6 negative effect.
