A data management structure for spatio-temporal walkthrough

摘要
This paper deals with data management structures for spatiotemporal walkthrough in virtual 3D environment. In the spatio-temporal walkthrough, it is very important to realize real-time response, that is, efficient search for spatio-temporal data. For this purpose, we propose Adaptive Tree Structure (We call the AT Structure), in which either spatial data structure or temporal data structure is selected adaptively depending on the demand for search. This paper describes an outline of the proposed data structure and evaluation results by computer simulation.
